Julie Wente

Transferring from Lakeland Community College to Southern Illinois University at Carbondale
My name is Julie Wente and I grew up working on my family’s dairy farm. This has led me down the path of receiving my Associates in Applied Science Agriculture Production and Management degree at Lake Land College. I am now a transfer student at Southern Illinois University Carbondale studying for a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science Production. I am thankful for the scholarship because it will help me lighten the heavy load of college expenses on my shoulders.
