Eric R. Moch was born in Stuttgart Germany, immigrating to the United States in 1939. After settling in Chicago he graduated from Roosevelt University, after which Eric earned a doctorate degree from Loyola University.

In addition to serving as the 1987-1988 IACRAO President, Mr. Moch inspired many during his long and distinguished career as the Director of Admissions and Records at Northeastern Illinois University. After his retirement in 1990, Mr. Moch moved to Florida where he was an active columnist in several local newspapers.

Mr. Moch passed away in May of 2002.  Friend and colleague Bruce Oates described Eric as ďA kind soul who cared deeply for the people in IACRAO. His efforts as President of the Organization helped place IACRAO on a sound financial base, allowing the organization to continue a high level of service to the membership. Personally, I canít say enough good things about the man. He was always supportive and encouraging to me.Ē
