Sheri C. Kallemback (2005-2006)

Sheri C. Kallembach received her Bachelorís and Masterís degrees from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Sheri taught Business Education subjects in high school and Business Communications for 5 years at Parkland College. There she became the Associate Director of Admissions and Records in 1993. In 1997 she took a similar position in the Office of Registration and Records at Northern Illinois University where she serves as Acting Director of Registration and Records/Registrar.

While serving as the Co-Editor of the IACRAO Chronicle in 2001, Sheri helped to move the newsletter from hard copy to an electronic format. As Past president in 2006 Sheri initiated the first IACRAO Leadership and Service Scholarship award and served as the Scholarship Committee Chair. Sheri has also served as a member of the Editorial Advisory Board for Privacy in the 21st Century, a Council on Law in Higher Education 2004 publication.

In 2002 Sheri began working with the Illinois Course Applicability System (CAS) Project, a HECA grant funded by the Illinois Board of Higher Education. She has been active in the Illinois Colleges and Universities Transfer Coordinators group and has served as a member of the Illinois Articulation Initiative Implementation Advisory Council (previously known as the Technology Task Force).

Sheri and her husband, Jim, have a son, James, and a daughter, Jennifer. She enjoys her flower gardens, reading, antiquing and cooking.
